Playa America is a lengthy beach with tiny grains of sand and clear water, located in one of Spain's most stunning areas. Although it is worth a visit, it is not worth the hype.

That place is the perfect spot to catch the sun's grand finale! The stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean as the sun dips below the horizon is simply breathtaking.

Praia Ladeira sure is beautiful, but it's a real shame that it's so full of green algae every summer in Baiona. The smell is unbearable and breathing it in is certainly not good for your health. It's clear that the city council needs to do more to keep the beach clean. We'll just have to wait and see what happens in 2023.

The golden sand beach in Cangas de Morrazo is situated in a picturesque fishing village on the Ría de Vigo which is part of the Rías Baixas in Galicia. Despite having all the services necessary to enjoy the sea, the beach is far from ideal. The promenade that runs along the beach to the port of Cangas is unappealing and the views of the Vigo estuary are far from magnificent. There is a bike path, however the beach is very quiet due to it not being high season. We visited at the end of May and found it to be far from the relaxing break we had hoped for. Galicia may be beautiful, but this beach is not.
