Latest reviews on Haad Yao's beaches

Bamboo Beach

This beach is truly remarkable, boasting crystal clear sand and stunning turquoise waters that are sure to take your breath away. With a range of excellent facilities available, you'll have everything you need for a day of fun in the sun. You simply must set aside at least half a day to experience the beauty of this beach for yourself.

Loh Lana Bay Beach

The beach wasn't anything special. There were hardly any people there, probably less than 10, because there isn't much to see or do. The water was calm and pleasantly warm. We didn't come across any spots for snorkeling while we were kayaking. Nui beach, which is right next door, is a far superior place to have a good time.

Maya Bay Beach

We came here as part of a boat tour, which is definitely the best and most convenient way to visit. Let me tell you, this beach is absolutely incredible! Just a word of caution, make sure you don't venture too far into the water, as there's a possibility of being fined. However, the sand is simply amazing, and the overall beauty of the beach is truly breathtaking. It tends to get quite busy with tourists, so you don't need to spend too much time here. But don't worry, there are snack stands and restroom facilities available as well. Trust me, it's definitely worth a visit!

Laemtong Beach

This island includes the package of a Phi Phi Island trip and it offers an amazing area for photographers and movies.

Monkey Beach
10 Natalya Petrova

The beach is stunning, but it's important to be cautious of the monkeys. They have a tendency to try and rummage through your belongings and may even attempt to attack you. However, once they realize there's no food in your bag, they'll typically leave it alone. If they start running towards you, it's best to head towards the water. Fortunately, the staff on the beach were helpful in keeping the monkeys at bay after they ran towards me. Despite the monkey situation, it's still a fantastic spot for kayaking.

Nui Beach

We paddled to this charming beach from Loh Dalum Bay at a leisurely pace of 45 minutes. The crystal-clear water was the highlight of this picturesque beach. Although small in size, we had the beach all to ourselves for some time until more visitors arrived later. To beat the crowd, it's advisable to start your day early.
