view the best beach places
This is truly one of my favorite spots on the planet. It's serene, calming, and has a wonderfully secluded feel. I've now been here twice.
When we went in February, the beach was great for swimming. The water was warm and calm, and the sand was soft. The water had a green/turquoise color and felt clean, although not completely clear (possibly due to the rain the previous evening). Additionally, there are several beach restaurant/bars to choose from, and you can also rent a long tail boat from here to visit other beaches.
This spot on Koh Samui boasts coral and small fish in close proximity to the beach. The water is clear enough for snorkeling, as long as the waves aren't too strong. It's open to the public for easy access.
The beach is incredibly charming and perfect for families. However, every Wednesday, expat locals host a small fair and an after-sunset party simultaneously. Despite this, my family loves gathering together to watch the sunset, play with the kids, and dance to the music.
While the beach is decent, there are certainly more stunning beaches out there. However, if you're visiting for a scenic hike or to take in some breathtaking views, the beach serves as a delightful reward at the end of your journey. Additionally, there are a handful of restaurant choices available for a bite to eat.
