Taino beach II

The beach is a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of a carnival cruise. While there may be additional fees for certain amenities, the beach offers a plethora of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. With its tranquil atmosphere and beautiful scenery, the beach is a worthwhile investment for those seeking a relaxing retreat.

We booked a suite overlooking the marina for our family of four, and everyone was thoroughly pleased with the accommodations. It was convenient to have the option to cook our freshly caught seafood in the room, and we appreciated being able to easily access fuel and ice every day. Our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it!

Coral beach

Coral Beach boasts a variety of condos for rent through vrbo, as well as a refreshing pool. While a restaurant and bar are occasionally available, they were not operational during my visit in October 2018. The beach area is accessible through a locked gate, providing a private atmosphere for relaxation. However, it should be noted that the beach itself is open to the public for walking or jogging along the water. The charming cabanas are reserved for the use of condo residents and visitors. The breathtaking view from the beach makes it an ideal location to witness the sunrise.

Silver Point beach

This was our third visit to Island Seas and each time we go, it seems to be in a more dilapidated state and the quality of service continues to decline. We have decided that we will not be returning in the future. We had to change rooms because the first one had a strong smell of mold and mildew. When we arrived, the shower curtain was inside the bathtub and despite reporting it, it still hadn't been fixed even after four hours when we returned. The front desk didn't have a blanket for the pull-out couch. On one morning, we were informed that there were only three pool towels available and were asked to check back later. The convenience store was not open during the hours that were posted. When I inquired about it after a few days, I was told that the store operates separately. However, when someone else asked, they were informed that the convenience store had closed down. Even simple requests like asking for ice became a complicated ordeal. The front desk instructed us to bring our ice bucket to the bar, but we didn't have one and they refused to provide a bag for the ice. Eventually, we were directed to the restaurant for ice. These are just a few examples of the poor communication, service, and overall experience.

East Palm beach

While preparing for our third visit to Grand Bahama Island, I conducted my usual research, which included using Google Maps to locate the beaches I wanted to explore this time. East Palm Beach happened to be conveniently situated just five minutes away from our resort, although it took a bit of effort to find it. Nonetheless, the map guided us directly to the beach. It truly is the most stunning beach I have ever encountered. The water possesses an exquisite shade of blue, the sand feels as soft as powder, and there were only a handful of other individuals present. Not only was the beach immaculately clean, but the water also remained incredibly tranquil. I am eagerly looking forward to revisiting it in the near future.

Gold Rock beach

Lucayan National Park boasts the most stunning beach I have ever encountered. The variety and sizes of the shells were astonishing! This beach is quite secluded, with hardly any footprints besides our own. We rented a car to drive to the park, took the self-guided cave tour on the opposite side of the highway, and then headed down to the beach to spend part of our day. Truly worth the experience!
