Didim - all beaches

To start, Lalekent beach is a secluded spot with limited access, only allowing entry to the cafeteria. The cafe sits right by the sea, offering a stunning view from its 10-meter elevation. The sunset views are particularly impressive. In terms of food, their toast appetizers are delicious and very reasonably priced at 40 TL with kashar and sausage. We enjoyed a satisfying family breakfast for 80 TL. The manti was exceptionally tasty, with flavorful ground meat that stood out from other places I've tried. It cost around 70-80 TL and was definitely worth it. Date of visit: 20.08.23.

The beach offers a narrow bay with pristine, transparent water and a sandy shoreline. There are ample parking lots, making it an ideal spot for caravan parking. Visitors have the option to rent sunbeds, but it's not mandatory as you can simply lay out on your own towel. Bringing your own chair and sunshade is also a viable option, as there is no shelter from the sun. It's highly recommended to bring a sunshade to avoid the intense heat. There is only one small facility where you can rent sunbeds and purchase refreshments.

The coffee shop is simply delightful, offering scrumptious food at an affordable price. However, the true gem of this location is the breathtaking beach. It is truly a sight to behold, with its pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. A visit to this beach is an absolute must for any nature lover or beach enthusiast.

Great place

The beach lacks waves and the water is noticeably saline, but it is refreshingly clean and cool. The sand may be sparse, but the terrain is adorned with an abundance of rocks. It is advisable to wear shoes while venturing into the water, as there are no restrooms or shower facilities. However, there is a dressing room available to the public, even though it is privately owned. If you are looking to camp, there is a spot a little further down the beach, but be sure to keep your food and watermelon secure, as the local pigs may pay you a visit. Overall, my experience at this beach was delightful, despite losing my watermelon to the pigs.

When planning a trip to the beach, keep in mind that it is a family-friendly destination. However, it is important to pack all necessary items as amenities may be limited. Additionally, it is recommended to have a vehicle with high ground clearance, such as a jeep, as the roads leading to the beach are in poor condition.
