Latest reviews on Imbros island's beaches

Gokceada is truly a gem, and the beach is spacious enough to avoid feeling overcrowded, particularly if you park near the salt lake and venture a bit towards the dunes. The swimming experience is fantastic.

The beach was decent, featuring an improvised parking area that kicks up a lot of dust when the wind blows. There were some chairs made from wooden pallets and umbrellas scattered across the sand. The ground consisted of a mix of sand and pebbles, and the water was clean. Nearby rocks provided a habitat for diverse sea life. Renting a set of beds with an umbrella cost 250 TRL, and the showers were also paid. The beach got busier after 11:30, likely because it was a Sunday.

This beach in Gökçeada quickly became our favorite. The water is incredibly clear and beautiful, resembling a smooth glass surface. After exploring this beach, we didn't feel the need to visit any other beaches. The depth of the water increases after five meters, which we found to be very enjoyable. Additionally, there is a floating dock available. One of the most comfortable aspects of this beach are the lodges, which are both new and affordable compared to other beaches on the island. They cost 300₺. The service and attention provided at this beach are also commendable. Thanks to Sefa, we were able to obtain her phone number and make a reservation before arriving. We can even place our food and drink orders over the phone, and they are promptly delivered to our sunbed. If you're looking to fully enjoy the sea, we highly recommend this beach.

The hotel rooms were a bit outdated, and the service provided was lacking. However, the ocean was absolutely stunning. Since we visited towards the end of the season, there were fewer people, and at times the water was chilly, but it remained quite clean. As you enter the sea, it initially deepens, but as you venture further, you'll notice it becomes shallower and the sand becomes more prevalent. Before heading to the beach, remember to bring your swim goggles as there are adorable fish swimming around your feet and following you (they are harmless and won't bite, and if you approach them, they will swim away but come back to investigate you again). Moreover, the hotel is conveniently located near the westernmost point of Turkey.

We have been visiting this island for four years, and we have been considering this beach for ten assessments. Currently, it appears to be unclean due to the arrival of the ferry, but overall it is remarkably pristine with crystal-clear water and a lack of waves. The beach is divided into two sections, with one part being sandy and the other part being rocky. Additionally, the water is not deep, as it reaches a depth of over 1.70 meters after approximately 10 to 15 meters.
