We embarked on a delightful ferry ride from the Dalyan town port, although there is also a crossing available near the lake's mouth north of Dalyan. Traveling on a moped was a wise choice, as the journey on foot would have been too arduous. Following the signs to Kaunos, we discovered an incredible Roman Empire site, complete with a stunning Amphitheatre and breathtaking views. Continuing on our journey, we made our way to Sultaniye, located on the serene lake shore. We stopped for a delectable lunch at a charming campsite with a restaurant, surrounded by picturesque scenery. Our next destination was Ekincik, a stunning bay with a shaded eating area that offered excellent prices. The ride through the hills was a true delight, with well-maintained roads and minimal traffic.

In August, you can reach this beach by crossing the Dalyan Strait from the main Iztuzu beach. During low water, it is mostly shallow and you can walk across it, you only need to swim about 10-15 meters. But at other times, the crossing can be difficult, so you should be very careful. After crossing the strait, you have to walk a little along the sandy shore along the cliff.
