The pebble beach boasts crystal clear waters that are a sight to behold. Conveniently located near shops and with toilets nearby, this beach is perfect for those looking for a quick escape. If you're arriving by rail, it's just a 10-minute walk away. Parking is also available for those driving. Take a stroll on the pier and explore the shops and rides. Don't miss out on the Neptune's Arm, a cool walk with an amazing view. And for history buffs, there's a Roman structural remnant to discover. End your day with a spectacular sunset view that will leave you in awe.

Tankerton beach
10 Lara Vinsen.

This charming beach boasts a vast expanse of sand, providing ample room for visitors to stretch their legs and soak up the sun. The lengthy footpath is a delightful stroll, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. At the summit of the hill, you'll discover a number of cozy benches that provide a perfect vantage point for taking in the stunning vistas.

Whitstable Beach
10 Jamil Farhan.

We reluctantly strolled down to the beach after a mediocre dinner. We had made the mistake of coming to this town, and now we were stuck here. As the sun began to set, the beach became inundated with people trying to capture the last moments of daylight. The view was overrated, and the restaurants were nothing special. We made the mistake of trying the Lobster Shack, which was a complete waste of money. Instead, we should have eaten elsewhere and come to the beach just for the sunset and a walk. The beach itself was nothing to write home about. It was rocky and uninviting, lacking any real charm. Despite this, it was a popular spot for couples, families, and tourists alike. Even after dark, it was considered a safe place to be. While there were plenty of people around, it never felt crowded. Parking was available along the beach, but if you didn't mind a walk, there were more carparks available in town.

Hampton beach
8 Nathanial Orlendis

This stunning beach destination is a must-visit spot, even on days when the weather is not at its best. Despite the conditions, the beach remains vibrant and bustling with activity. The park nearby is a great place for children to play and have fun. Plus, the pub on the premises is perfect for a relaxing drink or two, without being overcrowded.
