Sunny Sands beach

I'm absolutely smitten with this beach - it's easily my top pick in town and draws crowds consistently. The sand is soft and the water is shallow, making it a safe spot for children. Plus, the harbour arm provides shelter from any rough waves, unless there's a storm.

Hythe beach

This charming spot is perfect for dining, but the shore is composed of pebbles and not conducive for swimming due to its steep incline. It is better suited for watercraft activities.

This beach is absolutely stunning! Although it can get quite crowded, the beauty of the surroundings makes it worth the visit. While the main area of the beach is pebbly, there is a section close by that boasts soft, yellow sand. The ocean water is a breathtaking shade of blue that will leave you feeling mesmerized. It's simply a lovely place to be. I would definitely return to explore the sandy part of the beach and soak up more of the natural beauty.

Sandgate beach

The pebble beach was lovely, and it was enjoyable to walk along the pebble stretch. There are several restaurants, tea shops, and gift shops in the vicinity. The information provided was quite informative and helped us understand the area better.
