Latest reviews on Scotland's beaches

Mellon Udrigle Beach

This beach is definitely one of the best I've ever been to. The water is crystal clear and warm, offering breathtaking views of the sea. Snorkeling here is a treat, as there are plenty of crabs and fish to observe.

Loch Sunart Beach

This holiday site is quiet and well-managed, situated in a breathtaking location right on the water's edge. It offers something for everyone who loves stunning scenery and wildlife. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or an active holiday, this site is perfect. It provides excellent access to the loch for canoeing and has quiet roads ideal for cycling, with incredible views at every turn. The wardens are extremely helpful, and I wholeheartedly recommend this site. If I could, I would give it 10 stars! Kudos to everyone who helps maintain this park and makes it so special for us.

Cove Harbour

Charming small harbor. Dogs can roam freely. The harbor wall is quite rocky, and there's a tunnel through the cliff partway down the path from the cliff top, providing direct access. The path down is fairly steep, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues.

Pease Bay Leisure Park
10 Cal

This is a beautiful park located next to the beach and nature trails, offering excellent facilities. It's a perfect base for day trips to the South (Northumberland) and the North (Lothians/Fife). We loved it so much that we ended up buying a place there that same week!

Findochty Beach
10 Mac

This small beach is truly beautiful, especially on the lovely day I visited. I was walking from Portnockie to Findochty along the Moray Coast when this beach came into view. There's a nice bench further along where you can sit and enjoy the sea views. Like most Scottish beaches, we didn't encounter anyone else as we walked. It's a fantastic spot for the whole family.
