I visited Barry Island for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the beach. It was an ideal spot for families with nearby options for good food and drinks. We had a fantastic day out, although the only downside was the poor condition of the toilets. However, considering it's a beach, it's not unexpected, but they were still below average. Despite this, I still rate my experience five stars and would definitely return as it was exactly what we were looking for. I also had the pleasure of trying O'Sheas fish and chips, which were outstanding. The curry sauce was possibly the best I've ever tasted, and the fish and chips were equally delicious.
This stunning beach boasts a charming blend of old stone architecture and modern design. Parking is conveniently available on the sandy shore, and visitors can look forward to experiencing one of the largest tidal ranges in the South of England. Located near the M5, this beach is easily accessible and perfect for a day trip or weekend getaway.
The strong tide is ruining our enjoyment. We had planned to stay, but since there is no water nearby, we have decided to go to the lake instead. We couldn't find any parking nearby.
This is my absolute favorite spot to unwind and relax. The serene atmosphere is perfect for those seeking tranquility, and the charming cafes offer a delightful respite from the world. The restrooms are exceptionally well-maintained, a testament to the care and attention given to this beautiful beach. I simply adore spending time here.
