Water island - all beaches

The beach is lovely and definitely worth visiting. It's not overly crowded, and there are amenities like bathrooms and food available. You can rent tiki umbrellas or regular beach umbrellas, as well as snorkeling gear. I didn't personally snorkel, but others reported seeing turtles and stingrays. The beach is a short walk from the ferry, so there's no need to rent a golf cart, and there's even a free shuttle to take you there.

Although I awarded this beach with a rating of three stars, I must admit that it's not the typical sandy and serene beach that most people expect. The sand is actually composed of broken coral reef and is quite rocky, so it's advisable to wear reef walkers for the short forest hike down to the water. Additionally, the coral and sea urchins in the water make it quite hazardous, and the locals have warned about the rip tide, which makes it unsuitable for snorkeling unless you are an experienced swimmer. However, this secluded beach is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, with monarch butterflies fluttering around and fish swimming in the tide pools when the tide is out. There are no facilities here, unlike other beaches in the US Virgin Islands, but it's an excellent spot for shell hunting, although removing them is illegal. One downside is the abundance of seaweed that floats in, making the water appear uninviting. If you're looking for a typical beach experience, then Honeymoon Beach across the island is a better option. But if you're up for an adventure and want to explore the shoreline, then this beach is worth a visit.
