This beach boasts a plethora of amenities including food, restrooms, showers, and entertainment options. The beach itself and ocean swimming are fantastic, although the water can be chilly. Families with children will appreciate the small amusement park, carousel, and arcade, as well as the full-service restaurant. However, the steep admission and parking fees may be a drawback for some visitors. Weekend parking costs $25 per car (up to 5 people per car), which can quickly add up for larger families or groups with multiple vehicles. Local residents can purchase an annual pass for around $40, making it a more affordable option for them. As a tourist, it's important to be aware of the potential costs before visiting this attraction.
This beach is great for families, but it's a bit pricey with a $50 cost for parking and a beach day pass.
This beach is truly a sight to behold! The pristine cleanliness of the surroundings is simply immaculate. I am eagerly anticipating my return on Mother's Day for a delightful family picnic. I strongly encourage you to bring your loved ones along for the experience as there is an abundance of activities to partake in. It is the perfect spot for a picnic, capturing stunning photographs, unwinding, and immersing oneself in the breathtaking scenery.
This particular beach, located in both Connecticut and Rhode Island, has been deemed the finest in the region. Its pristine sands and crystal-clear waters attract visitors from near and far, making it a popular destination for those seeking a relaxing escape. The beach's natural beauty is truly breathtaking, and it offers a serene atmosphere that is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying the scenic views. Without a doubt, this is the ultimate spot for beachgoers looking for a top-notch experience.
This serene and intimate beach boasts a charming boardwalk and designated areas for swimming, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful seaside retreat.
The beach experience was extremely disappointing. The parking situation was inconvenient as it required downloading an app and providing personal information, including credit card details, while constantly being monitored by multiple police rangers who were checking for unpaid fees. Considering the large number of people, it would have been more efficient to have a single person collect the parking fees. The security on the beach was inadequate, which was concerning given the rowdy behavior of intoxicated visitors. Additionally, the bars and restaurants, if they could even be called that, were overpriced and the ordering process through an app was excessively time-consuming.
