Latest reviews on Fort Pierce's beaches

Walton Rocks beach
10 Andrew Zylak

This beach is an ideal spot for pet owners to enjoy a day out with their furry friends. It offers ample space for dogs to run around and play with other dogs, as well as the opportunity for them to take a dip in the water. Moreover, the beach provides a hose at the exit, which is convenient for cleaning off before heading back home. The sign on A1A is clearly visible, making it easy to find the entrance. However, the road leading to the beach can be a bit rough, so it's important to drive carefully and be mindful of pedestrians and pets.

Porpoise beach

The beach was equipped with a dingy restroom that seemed to have seen better days. The only redeeming quality was the abundance of private space, which was probably due to the lack of visitors. It was a ghost town, with no signs of life or activity. The free parking was a small consolation, but it hardly made up for the dreary atmosphere. The only thing of interest were the sea shells scattered along the shore, but even they couldn't make up for the overall lackluster experience.

Pepper Park beach

This beach is stunning! It was clean and not too crowded, possibly because of COVID and being February. The waves were massive and mesmerizing to watch and listen to. The bathrooms were clean, although the metal toilets were a bit strange. There is a fun playground for children to enjoy and burn off some energy. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area.

Sandy Toes beach
10 Ben

Rated as one of the best beaches by locals, our experience at this beach was fantastic. It offers a variety of different areas, including the inland ocean side and the channel. We spotted crabs, grouper, and apple jellyfish. While some parts of the beach are busy, there are also quieter spots with fewer people. Be mindful of the tides, as they can be strong. The waves are great for surfers.

Blind Creek beach
10 Lorenzo Kessler

This pristine beach is a true gem, boasting crystal-clear waters and spotless sand. The locals are welcoming and hospitable, making for a warm and inviting atmosphere. For those seeking a more liberating experience, the beach offers the option to go clothing-optional. Keep in mind that there are no shaded areas available, so it's recommended to bring along a beach umbrella for some relief from the sun's rays.

Round Island beach

We stumbled upon a magnificent beach park and decided to spend some time there. The park boasts a playground, a scenic walking trail, a fish cleaning station, and clean restrooms. The tranquil ambiance of the area makes it a perfect spot to unwind and rejuvenate. During the winter season, one can spot the gentle and majestic manatees, adding to the charm of the place.
