Jacksonville beach

This stunning beach is a perfect spot to take a leisurely stroll while basking in the beauty of the sunrise and the rhythmic sound of the waves. Although the beach may not be abundant in shells, we were fortunate enough to stumble upon a handful of lovely ones. In the mornings or on weekdays, the beach is typically not crowded, allowing for a peaceful and serene experience. Additionally, there is ample free parking available for visitors. To top it off, a pier is located nearby, adding to the charm and allure of this idyllic location.

Mickler Beach

Whenever I'm forced to visit my family in Florida, I dread the thought of coming to this beach. Sure, the sunset may be beautiful, but what's the point when the rest of the beach is so overcrowded? The sand is dirty and the constant sound of barking dogs is enough to drive anyone insane. Sure, there's plenty of room to run around, but who wants to share their space with a bunch of strangers and their furry friends? And don't even get me started on the shells. Sure, they may be pretty, but they're just a reminder of how polluted our oceans have become. And let's not forget about the discomfort of walking on the sand without shoes. The pain is unbearable and not worth the hassle.

Guana Reserve beach

This beach is a true gem. To begin with, you can park your vehicle for a nominal fee of $3.00 per car accommodating up to 8 passengers, right across the street. Once you have parked, you simply detach the receipt from the envelope and place the money inside before dropping it into the drop box. Then, place the receipt on the driver's side window and cross the semi-busy street to reach the beach. Once you get there, you'll be mesmerized by the stunning beauty of the beach, with the exception of the numerous seashells scattered all over the shore. It's best to have sand between your toes rather than cuts on your feet. Don't forget to bring a large umbrella as there is no shade available. The beach is not crowded due to the absence of restrooms or other recreational facilities, but that's exactly what makes it a peaceful haven. I rate this beach an A for its tranquility and abundance of sunshine.
