Unfortunately, the beach has been closed and to add insult to injury, the city has charged me for parking. This situation is far from satisfactory.
This beach is a favorite among locals because it offers free parking, restrooms, outdoor showers, and a BBQ area. However, there are no shops or cafes nearby, making it a peaceful and quiet spot for people to enjoy the sea and sand.
The cost of parking is $3 per hour, and unless you are fortunate enough to secure a nearby spot, you will have to take a pleasant stroll. The beach and the ocean are brimming with seaweed, but rest assured that there are lifeguards on duty. The water was placid on both occasions we visited. A pricey yet charming souvenir store, a seafood eatery, and a pier are all within easy reach. Don't forget to bring an umbrella to the beach unless you want to get sunburned.
This stunning beach boasts ample parking, making it a breeze to access. Even during peak hours, we never waited more than a quarter of an hour to get in. Overall, a fantastic spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the great outdoors.
