Latest reviews on Hutchinson Island's beaches

Stuart Beach

This beach is undeniably one of my most cherished destinations. It's a place where I relish spending time with my loved ones, and it gives me an unparalleled sense of tranquility. Every time I visit this spot, I'm flooded with fond recollections. Whether it's savoring sandwiches filled with sand or experiencing the exhilarating sensation of diving into the water, every moment spent here is etched in my mind forever.

Jensen beach Park

I absolutely adored this beach! The sand was incredibly fine and perfect for families with children. Despite its popularity, it was pleasantly uncrowded. An added bonus was the complimentary parking, which is always a plus. And, to top it off, the restrooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making it easy to change into your beach attire. Without a doubt, I will be returning to this beach in the future.

Bathtub beach

This beach is said to be excellent for snorkeling, but it appears to have suffered significant erosion from a recent hurricane. We noticed two flags, purple and yellow, which kept us from entering the water. The purple flag indicates the presence of dangerous sea creatures such as jellyfish or sharks, while the yellow flag is a warning for rough water or rip tides. Perhaps we'll give it another try on our next trip.

Walton Rocks beach

This beach is an ideal spot for pet owners to enjoy a day out with their furry friends. It offers ample space for dogs to run around and play with other dogs, as well as the opportunity for them to take a dip in the water. Moreover, the beach provides a hose at the exit, which is convenient for cleaning off before heading back home. The sign on A1A is clearly visible, making it easy to find the entrance. However, the road leading to the beach can be a bit rough, so it's important to drive carefully and be mindful of pedestrians and pets.

Bob Graham beach
10 Lila Monteverde

This beach is stunning and there's an awesome trail through the mangroves on the right side. It's my go-to spot whenever I hit the beach.

Porpoise beach
10 Raven Delgado

The beach was equipped with a dingy restroom that seemed to have seen better days. The only redeeming quality was the abundance of private space, which was probably due to the lack of visitors. It was a ghost town, with no signs of life or activity. The free parking was a small consolation, but it hardly made up for the dreary atmosphere. The only thing of interest were the sea shells scattered along the shore, but even they couldn't make up for the overall lackluster experience.
