Winthrop Harbor - all beaches

This place is truly a hidden gem. I drove over 9 hours from Missouri to get here, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The water was incredibly cold, so I couldn't spend much time in it, but just relaxing and soaking in the sounds made the trip well worth it.

Truly beautiful and picturesque, brand new seating options are available for you to relax and take in the stunning scenery. You can also stroll along the beach when it's visible.

This beach is a hidden gem, never too crowded or bustling. It's a fantastic spot for a refreshing swim, although the water is always quite chilly. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and there is ample parking available. Additionally, there are public bathrooms in the vicinity, and park rangers constantly patrol the roads to ensure safety.
