South Portland - all beaches

The city is packed with shops, restaurants, and attractions, making it a great destination for a fun-filled trip. The beach boasts miles of stunning coastline, although the water can be quite chilly. You'll never be bored here, as there's always something to do. There are several parking options available, with the Milliken St. parking lot being the best value for a short visit. For longer stays, there are other lots available, with one offering all-day parking for $30.

This local public beach is fantastic, with a friendly dog community and stunning scenery. The walking trails are also top-notch.

We have been coming to this beach for the past two decades and have stayed here numerous times. The rooms are consistently neat and charming. The breakfast is fantastic. The best part is being right by the ocean, which is absolutely delightful.

When the tide is high, the beach has a greater amount of gravel. It's a great spot to collect lovely pebbles. Additionally, there's a fresh water washing service available.
