As you look up, you'll see airplanes soaring through the vast blue sky, adding to the already magnificent scenery. There is also a cozy restaurant on site where you can indulge in delicious pizza and refreshing drinks, although many visitors opt to bring their own food and beverages. The water is crystal clear and you can wade out quite far before it reaches waist-deep, even if you're petite like me at 5'2. With ample shoreline to stretch out on and no sharks to worry about, you can soak up the sun and enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. This spot is a must-visit for locals looking for a perfect beach day getaway.

I had the pleasure of lounging at Carson Beach. As the evening approached, the atmosphere became even more delightful with the sound of beach volleyball games in the background. The view of the old harbor was breathtaking and it was fascinating to observe the numerous airplanes preparing to land at Logan International Airport.
