West Brewster - all beaches

This stunning beach is perfect for visitors of all ages, particularly during low tide when you have approximately three hours to explore the Bay and its eight to ten tide pools. However, be mindful of the incoming tide, which can rise quickly, especially if you have children with you. Parking can be pricey, with rates up to $30 per day unless you have a beach sticker for your vehicle. It's best to arrive before 11am to secure a spot, as the lot can fill up quickly and you may be forced to wait for someone to leave.

The beach was fantastic, peaceful, and not overly crowded during our visit.

This picturesque shoreline is truly enchanting. It's at its best during low tide when you can stroll through the shallow waters that reach your ankles or knees. The sand is velvety soft, making it a delight to walk on. Although there are a few pebbles scattered along the beach, once you've passed them, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the sunset.

Meanwhile, families with little ones who love to frolic in the water and hunt for crabs will find the tidal stream to be a perfect spot. Older children who enjoy kayaking or swimming in a larger body of water will be thrilled with the peninsula where the river meets the ocean, offering the chance to drift with the current or paddle around. Adventurous swimmers can even venture out to the sand bar. However, those who dislike seaweed should steer clear of the ocean and larger river areas and opt for the tidal stream instead. With its vast expanse and numerous tidal streams, this beach is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a family outing with kids of any age. Whether you're seeking solitude or companionship, this beach is a must-visit spot on the Cape.

Upon first glance, this beach boasts a stunningly picturesque sight, yet I have yet to set foot on its sandy shores. The panoramic vistas and natural surroundings are a source of great admiration for us.
