Latest reviews on Havel's beaches

Wannsee Beach

The lakefront beach is truly lovely. The admission fee of 5.5 euros per person is quite reasonable. Additionally, you have the option to rent a beach chair for 8 euros, accommodating two people. The sand is incredibly soft, and the water surprisingly shallow. It's an ideal spot to unwind over the weekend before returning to work on Monday. It does tend to get busier on weekends, so I suggest arriving in the morning to secure a beach chair if desired. If you're interested, there is also a food establishment and a giant chess set available. All in all, it's a fantastic location.

We took a trip to Ketzin for a short getaway and had a wonderful time. It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of a peaceful and enjoyable tourist experience. We had a great time boating on the Havel, indulging in a delicious meal at a lovely restaurant in the evening, and taking a leisurely stroll along the Havel promenade. Ketzin is the perfect destination for those who prefer a more intimate and authentic tourism experience, rather than the crowded and commercialized options. I am already looking forward to returning in the future. 🥰

This beautiful beach is a hidden gem. Exploring on a bike will lead you to discover some cozy spots along the way. It's definitely a great place for families. Be cautious of unexpected deep areas in the water. Weekdays are the perfect time to visit, as weekends tend to get crowded.

This beach is amazing! It's the number one spot for surfing in Berlin! 😄👍🏻🏄🏼‍♀️🏄🏼‍♂️

The water is green, but other than that, the beach is fantastic. It's not crowded.

What a letdown. After a long train ride and a pleasant walk through the trees from the station, I was disappointed to find out there was a fence and an entrance fee of 5.50 Euros. I was hoping for better facilities for the price I paid. Unfortunately, the beach seemed stuck in the 60's with brown sand and nothing much has changed. Most people were lounging in oversized wicker chairs, and there was a nude area to the right behind a low fence. The 800m building along the shore had toilets, but only one fast food kiosk in the middle struggled to keep up with demand. Despite the entrance fee, it didn't seem like the money was being used to improve the facilities, aside from a few plastic palm trees.
