Upon arrival at the beach, my expectations were not fully met as I had read some reviews and viewed a few pictures prior to my visit. However, the highlight of my experience was discovering a nearby forest where playful squirrels roam about.

The beach offers breathtaking scenery, abundant natural coverage and complimentary parking facilities. However, individuals who are not proficient swimmers may find the sea entrance a bit challenging. Additionally, there may be occasional patches of seaweed scattered along the shore.

The beach is truly a sight to behold, with its vast expanse and serene atmosphere. Although it is undeniably lovely, there are a few minor issues that could be improved upon. One such issue is the limited number of showers available, which can be inconvenient for those looking to rinse off after a swim. Additionally, it is important to note that this beach is not dog-friendly, which may be disappointing for some visitors. While it would be ideal if there were a designated area for furry friends to frolic, unfortunately, that is not the case at this particular location.

While Croatia boasts blue flag beaches with clean water, Plava beach unfortunately does not have this designation. Although it does have facilities for children, I would not recommend letting a child swim here unless they have excellent swimming skills. The beach is picturesque and great for tanning, but I did not observe any lifeguards on duty. The water is deep and the waves are quite strong. Additionally, there are no nearby restaurants or bars, making it less suitable for elderly or disabled individuals.
