Cisterna beach

The beach is absolutely fantastic, with its pristine white pebbles adding to its charm.

The beach is conveniently accessible by car, with the added bonus of being able to park right in front of the shoreline. The water is crystal clear and while sand may be absent, the beach is adorned with smooth, medium-sized pebbles. It is recommended to wear beach shoes to prevent slipping on the slippery pebbles and rocks, both while walking and swimming. This beach is an ideal location for launching a small boat or dinghy into the sea.

This beach is an excellent spot for snorkeling enthusiasts. Fortunately, finding a parking spot is a breeze as there are ample places to park. Showers may not be available, and I'm uncertain about the presence of restrooms. However, there is a beach bar that serves refreshments, and if you arrive early enough, you can secure a spot nearby. Don't forget to pack your picnic essentials for a delightful day at the beach.

This lovely beach boasts a unique rocky terrain both on the shore and in the water, which may pose a challenge for some when entering or leaving the water. However, just 10 meters from the shore lies a delightful sandy area that is not too deep. The water temperature is pleasantly warm and inviting. Shade can be scarce, so beachgoers are advised to arrive early to secure a spot. Despite its beauty, the beach is not overly crowded, allowing visitors to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil experience. To access this hidden gem, a short 2km drive on a pebble road is required. Once you arrive, there is ample parking and a convenient beach bar to quench your thirst.

The journey to the beach is a breeze, as long as you don't mind a few kilometers of pebble roads. Just take it slow and steady, and you'll be there in no time. Now, let's talk about the beach itself. One part of the beach has the access road in the back, which means that if the wind blows towards the sea, some of the dust might end up on the beach. But hey, it's all part of the natural experience, right? The other part of the beach is nestled in a pine forest, which sounds lovely, but access to the water can be a bit tricky. So, choose your spot wisely. But fear not, there's a bar on the beach with friendly staff ready to serve you drinks and food. It's really nice, we promise. Overall, we had a great time at Cisterna beach and highly recommend it. It's a refreshing change from the more glamorous beaches out there. So, what are you after? Dusty roads or pine forests?
