At first glance this is a very beautiful bay, but on closer inspection it is an ecological mess of the first order: 1. A lot of seaweed is damaged when anchoring. Murings should definitely be installed here. 2. The water is full of microplastics; After bathing, the skin is covered with small pieces of plastic. 3. The 'beach' is so heavily littered with plastic bottles or similar that it will be impossible to collect all the rubbish and dispose of it sensibly elsewhere if you have a few rubbish bags; Goodwill fails here because of the amount of plastic waste. 4. The abandoned buildings (hotel/children's home) are ready for demolition and are full of garbage bags, mattresses and other rubbish. A few years ago the EU financed a fig cultivation project in this bay; She would have preferred to give the Croatians a pat on the wrist to get rid of such wild garbage dumps. First clean it up, then EU money comes for a plantation... The Mediterranean is dead! The fishermen who are still active here will no longer be allowed to fish for at least five years in order to allow the fish stocks to recover.
