I live in Berlin and decided to spend the weekend at this beach with a couple of friends. It's an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The atmosphere here is incredibly pleasant and peaceful. However, there aren't many international tourists around, so it's advisable to communicate in German while in the area. The lake itself is exceptionally clean, and even on a Sunday in June, it wasn't overly crowded. I highly recommend visiting this place. I've also attached some pictures I took for you to see.
