Camping Cameroon is situated in the southwest of Waren an der Müritz and served as our base for exploring Rostock, the Baltic Sea, the bear forest, and cycling in the national park. We were pleased with the pleasant and tidy area in the older section of the campground, which was adorned with trees. Just a short distance away was the campground's own sandy beach on the Müritz. Additionally, there was a dog beach located 100 meters outside the campground. The gas path that meandered through the adjacent forest along the Reeck Canal was also delightful. However, I was not particularly satisfied with the cleanliness of the showers and toilets. It would be beneficial if the walls, door panels, and windows were included in the regular cleaning routine... Furthermore, the exhaust system was malfunctioning and even leaking, which I found rather repulsive. Of course, the campground cannot be held responsible for guests who smoke in the restroom and scatter ashes all over or those who leave their shoes dirty in the showers. Nevertheless, as a guest, it was not a pleasant sight. By the way, showering and washing dishes can only be done with a camper card: 3 seconds of water costs 1 cent - which is reasonable. All in all, it was a delightful and rejuvenating vacation. I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff, who were consistently friendly and helpful. However, in my opinion, the sanitary facilities could greatly benefit from more attentive care.

The campsite is truly fantastic, offering ample space yet still easy to navigate. The staff at the front desk is extremely friendly, and the breakfast bread rolls are absolutely delightful. Our pitch was conveniently located under the shade of trees and just a short distance of less than 30 meters from the water. We will definitely return in the future.

We had an amazing weekend during Pentecost with a staff that was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The only thing we would have preferred is a stronger WiFi connection, although it was a relief that our cell phone reception was quiet. We're already excited for next year and hope you continue the great work. Thumbs up! 👍🏼💪🏼💨💨
