The beach posed quite a challenge with its high tides and limited sand space, leaving little room for relaxation. Upon descending the stairs, we were met with large rocks obstructing the pathway to the shore. Although not insurmountable, it did require some climbing. It was no surprise that only a few visitors braved the tides and rocks to reach the beach. During our visit, we encountered a somewhat aggressive monkey, causing us to wait at the stairs for a few minutes before continuing.

This is a place that will stay with you for a lifetime. To fully enjoy your time here, it's recommended that you arrive early and bring along some essential items such as water, snacks, and sunscreen. While the steps leading up to the beach may be steep, the breathtaking views along the way are worth the effort. It's important to note that the ponds along the path may not be cleaned until November 2022. However, once you reach the beach, you'll be mesmerized by its sheer beauty and tranquility. It's an experience that you won't forget anytime soon.

What an absolutely stunning beach! If you're looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Nusa Penida's popular tourist spots, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend arriving around 9 am to have the entire beach to yourself - it's a truly magical experience. I even took a two-hour hike from Diamond Beach through some of the most serene areas I've ever encountered, and met some friendly locals who were amazed to see me exploring their neck of the woods. This is definitely a must-visit destination for anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

This beach on Nusa Penida is truly one of the most spectacular ones out there, with its breathtaking cliffs and crystal-clear waters. Surprisingly, it's not very crowded, so you can enjoy the serene atmosphere and the stunning views in peace. Be mindful, however, that you can only visit during low tide, as the high tide makes the beach disappear and the rocks at the bottom of the staircase become treacherous. Luckily, the road leading to the beach has been recently paved and is now a smooth ride. Don't be fooled by other reviews that suggest otherwise. When you arrive, you'll find a charming little warung run by a friendly lady, where you can indulge in a refreshing coconut after your climb back up the stairs. Overall, this beach is a hidden gem that you won't want to miss.

The newly repaired stairs have made accessing the beach a breeze, allowing for a smooth descent and ascent. As we walked along the path, we were amazed to witness a stunning sight of 9 majestic mantas swimming in the ocean below. However, upon our arrival during high tide, we found the beach to be unfortunately inaccessible, forcing us to trek back up the path without any opportunity to rest.
