During our three-night stay, we were initially assigned a room on the third floor without an elevator, which was difficult for me due to my bad knee. The second room was in such a state of disarray that the floor appeared to have gone uncleaned for several days, and the bathroom was nothing to write home about. The third room was no better than the second, with unsatisfactory cleanliness standards. Finally, we were asked to wait for the fourth room while it was being mopped and cleaned, resulting in an hour and a half of check-in time. To top it all off, we were overcharged and the hotel refused to refund any of our payment. For the same amount, I strongly suggest the nearby hotel with a similar name, but with RIU in front, which is a true five-star destination. I have shared a few of the 40 or so pictures I took to demonstrate the condition of this terrible place. It is a kindness to give it even one star. It is worth noting that most of the pictures on their website are from when the resort first opened 20 years ago.
