During my holiday in the Seychelles, I had the opportunity to explore a nearby islet through a catamaran excursion organized by the Creole agency.
The islet was truly remarkable and breathtaking, with its pristine natural beauty, encompassing a stunning forest and a lengthy pier that led to the heart of the islet, requiring a climb to reach the opposite bank.
Encountering the giant turtles was a truly magical experience, as it provided a harmonious connection between nature and humanity. These gentle creatures freely allowed us to stroke them, while their amusing expressions captivated our attention.
On the other side of the islet, there stood a magnificent house, once belonging to the island's doctor during the time when it served as a sanctuary for lepers and a refuge for black ex-slaves. Although the villa was undergoing renovations due to termite damage, its colonial style remained distinguishable, and it was truly awe-inspiring to behold even in its current state.
Overall, this was an experience that should not be missed, as it left an indelible impression and created unforgettable sensations.
