Latest reviews on Seychelles's beaches

Anse Takamaka Beach
10 WANDERING CHILD

When we visited this beach in the middle of November, it was absolutely ideal. The waves were calm, the water was a stunning shade of blue, and there were hardly any other people around. If you arrive in the morning, you'll have the beach all to yourself. It was definitely one of the most beautiful beaches we experienced in Seychelles.

D'offay Road Beach

We live in London and have friends who reside on the island of Mahé. However, whenever we visit them, we always choose this amazing residence. This is our second time staying at Villa Luana Yuna, and we have noticed that there are always pleasant surprises. The garden is meticulously cared for, despite the vastness of the property. Every plant and palm tree is perfectly maintained. It's delightful to be able to enjoy the coconuts that fall in the garden. Additionally, it's wonderful to simply cross the road and be at the beach, especially during low tide when you can take a walk to the coral reef. The area is residential and peaceful, yet conveniently located near all the necessary amenities such as restaurants, markets, and a craft village. Stanley, the caretaker, prepared an excellent barbecue and a traditional Creole dinner for us. Luana, the owner, assisted us in renting a car at a great price, which we highly recommend using to explore the island, although there is a bus stop right in front of the villas. Most importantly, we want to express our gratitude for the numerous tips that enhanced our second experience with you. We will definitely return to visit because we feel right at home at Villa Luana Yuna. Thank you for everything.

Anse Du Riz Beach

This minuscule stretch of sand may appear picturesque, but don't be fooled by its size. Our group was ferried in by boat for a lunch break, but I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed. Sure, the rocks were nice to look at, but the beach itself was nothing to write home about. The only saving grace was the fact that it was a quick stop on our boat trip.
