4 Frustrating

The beach boasts a variety of excellent dining options and beach bars, as well as some lovely areas. However, it appears that only the resorts and bars are responsible for keeping these sections clean. Unfortunately, there are concerns about sewage flowing into the sea, which can be questionable to downright disgusting. During our visit, the water was never crystal clear and often had a greenish tint. Depending on the tide, a significant amount of debris, including small plastic particles, styrofoam, and large plastic sheets, was washed up on the shore. While the beach itself is stunning, it's disheartening to see the extent of littering and pollution.

The beach is undeniably beautiful, but unfortunately, it is mostly surrounded by hotels and resorts, making it challenging to access. Finding a shaded area without having to pay for a sunbed, which costs around 120-150k VDN, can also be quite difficult. However, the beach boasts stunning sunsets and is home to many friendly dogs.

The beach on the west coast of the island is simply excellent and impeccably clean. During our stay in Phu Quoc, the wind and tide had unfortunately caused some trash to accumulate on the east beaches, but we found this beach to be spotless and a perfect alternative. There are plenty of fantastic beach bars to relax in and some truly great restaurants with reasonable prices. Overall, a wonderful experience.

In our opinion, Keo Beach stands out as the top beach destination in Phu Quoc, particularly in the southern region. This beach boasts ample space and is generally well-maintained, with clean stretches of sand. The water is also tranquil, making it ideal for swimming and other water activities. Additionally, there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area, providing ample opportunities for refreshments and dining.
