This place is absolutely stunning, incredibly peaceful, and offers a sense of privacy. The homestay, known as Stone Beach due to the abundance of colorful stones, has a few cozy rooms. I booked a small room for a two-day stay to explore the entire island. The host is exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering to pick up guests from the pier on a motorcycle or suggesting nearby motorbike rentals. The island itself is quite small, allowing you to see everything in just one hour. If you're a seafood lover, the seafood market is a must-visit, offering fresh nails, fish, blue crab, octopus, shrimp, squid, scallops, and more. Additionally, you have the option to book a daily tour to explore the nearby islands on the sea. I adore the ocean atmosphere, waking up to the sound of birds singing, the crashing waves, and witnessing breathtaking sunrises. Ending the day with a beach BBQ is the perfect way to unwind.
Right in front of Stone Beach, you can enjoy scuba diving and witness the incredible underwater ecosystem, swimming alongside colorful fish in shades of yellow, green, blue, purple, and striped varieties. Another aspect I truly cherish is the opportunity to engage in stone balancing, finding relaxation and solace amidst nature.
Lastly, if the host could find a better solution for the garbage problem, it would truly elevate this place to an even more amazing destination.
