Singing beach

In the beginning of August, the water at the beach was measured to be around 65 degrees. Despite the prolonged heatwave, the water was still pleasant to swim in, although it could have been warmer. However, the real highlight of the beach was the soft and pristine sand, which made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Additionally, the water was crystal clear, allowing for excellent visibility and a chance to admire the underwater world.

The pristine state of this beach was impressive, with not a single piece of litter in sight. Its compact size added to its charm, making it feel cozy and intimate. However, the highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the snack shack, which offered delicious treats at reasonable prices. In addition, the restrooms and showers were immaculate, ensuring that visitors could freshen up after a day of fun in the sun.

I'm not particularly fond of the beaches in the northeast as they tend to be overcrowded, unclean, and the water can be frigid and murky. However, Singing Beach proved to be a delightful exception. Although it appears to be a small, private beach, it was open to the public when I visited. The sand is pristine and the beach is not overly crowded, while the water is crystal clear and not at all murky. While it may not resemble a tropical paradise, it certainly doesn't require a vaccination before taking a dip. The only drawback I experienced was the icy cold water, but after a while, you get used to it. The main issue you may face is parking, as most spots are reserved for residents and there are only a few public parking options nearby. Therefore, it's best to plan ahead to avoid any inconvenience.

This beach is easily one of the most cherished spots in the vicinity. While I may come across other beaches that could potentially steal my heart, this one holds a special place in it. The mere sight of this place is enough to make me feel content. I have captured the essence of this beach in my photos, both during the summer and winter seasons. However, it is important to note that there are certain things to keep in mind before visiting. During the summer months, there is a fee to access the beach, while in the winter, it is open to the public for free. As someone who believes in the importance of public spaces being accessible to all, it is disheartening to see such restrictions in place. Nevertheless, this beach is a true gem that is worth your time. During the off-season, it is easily accessible and the views are breathtaking. If you plan on visiting during the summer, I would advise against driving down to the parking lot. It is highly likely that you will be charged for parking, if a spot is available. Instead, opt to park in town and move your car every two hours. All in all, I highly recommend a visit to this beach. If you have an appreciation for unique and eccentric homes, this place has plenty to offer in that regard as well.

The beach resort offers cozy accommodations with a spacious bedroom and a charming lounge area on the ground floor. The inviting fireplace in the sitting room adds to the cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. The breakfast spread is hearty and delicious, and the dinner in the second dining room is a delightful culinary experience.
