Located in the Poipu, Kiahana plantation and kukui'ula areas, this beach boasts a prime location for visitors. While it may not have endless stretches of pristine sand due to the volcanic rocks that interrupt the expanse, these rocks provide a unique opportunity for exploration and walking, making it an ideal spot for families. The surf can be a bit active, making it perfect for those who want to try their hand at surfing without being a diehard professional. Across the street, an occasional food truck is parked, and for those with deeper pockets, the Beach House is located at one end. During our visit, a large wedding party was taking place under a canopy with food, drinks, and music on the lawn. If you're looking for more than just swimming in the surf, this beach is the perfect spot for people and sealife watching and is worth a day's visit.
