During our quest to explore the best beaches around the island, we stumbled upon this gem. The beach is located within the Turtle Bay Resort, but it is open to the public. To access it, you will need to drive through the resort and follow the signs for beach access. Once you reach the parking lot, you will notice that it is quite large, but it can get crowded during peak hours. We arrived in the mid-afternoon and had to wait for a spot to open up. Fortunately, there are restrooms and outdoor showers available for public use. The cove offers stunning views of the resort and the nearby rocks. You can either enjoy the bay by the resort or continue walking to a secluded beach around the corner. We noticed that many people were enjoying their beach day, but we were surprised not to see any turtles. The sand is made up of coarse shell sand, which may not be as soft as you expect. After a brief stroll, we decided to move on to our next destination. Although we didn't find anything particularly exceptional about this beach, it is still worth a visit if you're in the area.

This beach is ideal for observing turtles, but it's important to maintain a safe distance and not treat it like a petting zoo. It's recommended to read the signs and be cautious, as some visitors have been warned for getting too close to the turtles. Additionally, parking is limited, so you may need to walk along the road to access the beach. The rocks and coral can be slippery, so it's important to be careful.

A stunning spot on the North Shore where you can unwind and catch a glimpse of green sea turtles. We discovered that visiting around midday was ideal for spotting the turtles as they tend to come ashore to soak up the sun. These creatures are truly remarkable and unfortunately endangered, so it's important to observe them from a distance and avoid touching them as you could face a fine. Additionally, there are volunteers on-site to safeguard the turtles.

This beach on the North Shore is decent. It may be enjoyable if you're not used to going to beaches, but there are many other spots on the island that are superior. However, it's not a bad place to go. It's great for swimming and snorkeling, especially if you have children. Additionally, there's a lovely trail along the waterfront. If you're not a guest at Turtle Bay Resort, there are parking spots accessible from the shoreline, but they fill up quickly, so arriving early is recommended.

The beach, situated on the north shore, boasts an enviable location. While turtles were not spotted during our visit, we did have the pleasure of witnessing a monk seal enjoying a peaceful afternoon nap. A rocky terrain separates the hotel to the west from a stunning sandy beach to the east. Although parking can be a challenge, patience will be rewarded with spots opening up in the public parking lot. The sandy beach on the east is a bit of a trek, but well worth the effort. The public beach access walkway offers good restrooms for visitors. During our visit, a high surf advisory was in effect, with strong, steady winds and waves reaching heights of 16-20 feet. Overall, this beach is a fun spot and highly recommended for those seeking a memorable coastal experience.
