This beach seems to be the first one you'll come across in Goa and is located near the border of Karnataka. Polem beach is approximately 60.4 kilometers south of Margao, which is the largest city in South Goa and can be reached via the NH 66.
Discover the most stunning, tranquil and unspoiled beach, hidden away from the crowds. However, reaching this idyllic location requires a challenging trek through dense forest and slippery slopes. Begin your journey at the end of Bliss by the Sea resort, where a narrow path leads you into the forest on your left, while the coast stretches out to your right. Remember to stick to the trail and bring plenty of water and snacks in a bag. Please do not litter on this pristine beach, take your trash with you and dispose of it properly. Keep an eye out for the impressive monitor lizards that call this place home. The sea can be very steep and the currents too strong, so it is best not to venture too far out. Be sure to leave before sunset, as the beach is completely submerged during high tides. Enjoy your adventure!
The natural beauty of the beach is stunning, but unfortunately, it is often used as a public restroom by locals, which can be quite off-putting.
The beach is incredibly peaceful, with minimal crowds and a perfect location for turtle nesting. There are no nearby shacks, but the pristine white sands and crystal-clear blue waters make up for it. It's a fantastic beach with a lifeguard on duty and limited parking available for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. The beach is one of the cleanest I've ever seen, although there are no changing facilities nearby. It's a must-visit spot, and don't forget to bring your own water bottles.
