This serene fishing village is an absolute gem, boasting breathtaking views of the ocean. I found myself enchanted by the tranquil ambience and spent my mornings taking leisurely strolls along the beach. The nearby Tulamben and Jemeluk areas are perfect for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts, offering a stunning underwater world to explore. Overall, my experience here was nothing short of delightful.
This beach is an ideal spot for snorkelling enthusiasts. The waters are tranquil, with no waves to disrupt your underwater exploration. You can even venture out from the beach to snorkel. While the beach itself may not be the most stunning, the underwater world is a different story. We had the pleasure of observing coral and a diverse range of fish species. For the ultimate snorkelling experience, head to the right side of the bay. You won't be disappointed. Another must-see is the underwater temple near the black buoy on the centre-right of the beach. You can either snorkel from the surface or take a dive to explore it more closely. If you don't have your own snorkelling equipment, don't worry. You can rent a mask and goggles from the beach vendors for a reasonable price. We paid 25K for ours, but fins may cost extra. One of the beach vendors even provided free Wi-Fi and loungers for their customers, which made our visit all the more enjoyable.
This beach is excellent for snorkeling and diving. 🤿 You can discover a wide range of underwater treasures, including various corals and fish. The shore diving experience is unique and unlike anything I've tried before.
Tulamben doesn't offer a traditional sandy beach, but instead boasts a unique volcanic rock landscape. The main attraction here is the incredible scuba diving opportunities, with the Liberty wreck just a short swim from the shore. This dive is perfect for those seeking a calming and effortless experience, with excellent visibility and a stunning array of colorful coral and tropical fish.
