We visited during the off-peak season, so the service was slow, and the resort was very quiet. The room was poorly maintained and not very clean. The worst part was the bed bugs! Yes, bed bugs! My husband and I ended up with bites all over our bodies. The beach and water were littered with dead corals, and the water was too shallow for swimming unless you walked a considerable distance towards the ocean. To have a proper swim and snorkel, you had to go to the neighboring 5-star hotel. However, the staff, especially those handling water activities, were friendly and hospitable, which is why I didn't give a 1-star rating.
This place is a complete scam. There are countless other locations that offer better value for your money, where you can truly enjoy your hard-earned cash. They have the audacity to put up signs prohibiting pets in the Sea, Mountains, and Beach. No pets allowed in the Sea - what a ridiculous joke!
Skip Perenthians and Redang, this beach is the most stunning and picturesque in the entire archipelago. Luckily, it remains relatively unknown to local tourists, so you can enjoy it all to yourself or with just a few others. The beach is incredibly spacious, and the water and sand boast indescribable colors. You'll also spot plenty of fish and harmless small sharks. Don't fret, they're quite peaceful. After immersing yourself in the surroundings, take a break at the nearby beachside ciringuito for some refreshing coconut or other affordable food options. You absolutely have to experience it.
