This is my go-to beach every summer. It's fantastic - not too crowded, with frequent waves. The water may not be super warm, but it's still enjoyable to relax on the warm sand by the dunes. The tide goes out quite far, perfect for kids to build sandcastles, just make sure to keep an eye on them! I highly recommend it!
Vauville beach is truly one of Europe's finest. With kilometers of sandy shoreline, it's perfect for a range of low-tide sports. The surrounding hinterland boasts stunning heather-covered hills and lovely hiking trails. The area has been thoughtfully developed for tourism, and the overall vibe is reminiscent of charming southern English seaside towns.
Sandy beach offers a stunning view. I visited in May was treated to a cloudless sky. The water was warm enough for swimming playing in the waves, even without a surfboard. Despite the temperature being around 15°, it didn't feel cold at all. Additionally, you can see both the British Isles of Jersey Guernsey from the beach.
