Latest reviews on Alcacer do Sal's beaches

Comporta Beach

This place can be a bit pricey for locals, but you don't have to pay for a sunbed. You can bring your own umbrella and sunbed. The sand is a bit sticky, but the ocean is beautiful. Just be careful if it's windy, as it can get rough. There's a cafe that sells water, cocktails, and snacks.

Praia da Figueirinha

This stunning beach with a serene and tranquil atmosphere that will leave you feeling completely relaxed. The pristine sands and crystal-clear waters are impeccably maintained, providing a truly pristine environment for you to enjoy. With its natural beauty and peaceful ambiance, this beach is the perfect destination for those seeking a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Troia Mar Beach
10 Lubekov Family

This beach is absolutely amazing. To reach it, you can take the Fertagus from Lisbon all the way to Setúbal (the last stop). From there, it's just a short 10-15 minute walk to the Atlantic Ferry stop where you can catch a boat to Troia. The journey takes around 75 to 80 minutes, but it's definitely worth it. Additionally, during low tide in the early afternoon, you can even walk across the bay to the other side, which is a unique experience.

Praia do Pego

This is our go-to beach for family outings, and it's not hard to see why. The water is crystal clear and the sand is fine and soft, making it the perfect spot to soak up the sun. The beach is well-equipped, with amenities like a paid car park and two fantastic restaurants, as well as a cozy coffee bar. If you need some shade, parasols are available for hire. The beach is expansive, with plenty of space for kids to play - there's even a charming little Wendy house and a small library. The staff, including the lifeguards, park attendants, and restaurant workers, are all friendly and welcoming. And if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of dolphins swimming by - we saw them once and it was truly magical.

Galé-Fontainhas Beach
10 Santiago Ahumado

The beach is absolutely stunning! It stretches out for miles with soft, powdery sand and crystal-clear waters that are free of any pesky rocks. The restaurant is a true delight, exuding a chic and sophisticated vibe that is sure to impress. I highly recommend a visit to this beach paradise.

Santo Andre Beach

This expansive shoreline is a hidden gem, with a surprisingly low number of visitors, making it a top pick for me. Plus, the proximity of the lagoon offers the option for a dip in the more temperate waters.
