This beach is absolutely amazing. To reach it, you can take the Fertagus from Lisbon all the way to Setúbal (the last stop). From there, it's just a short 10-15 minute walk to the Atlantic Ferry stop where you can catch a boat to Troia. The journey takes around 75 to 80 minutes, but it's definitely worth it. Additionally, during low tide in the early afternoon, you can even walk across the bay to the other side, which is a unique experience.

The beach is truly a remarkable destination, and what's even more impressive is that it manages to maintain a sense of serenity and tranquility even during busy public holidays. The lack of crowds is a testament to the beach's allure, and visitors can bask in the natural beauty of their surroundings without feeling overwhelmed or cramped. Overall, the beach is a must-visit for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The beach was a sight to behold, with its stunning scenery and picturesque surroundings. However, the ocean was quite chilly, making it a bit of a challenge to take a dip.

Nestled on a picturesque headland, lies a stunning and expansive beach that beckons visitors to explore its vast expanse. During low tide, one can venture far out into the sea, taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Troia, the location of this idyllic beach, is easily accessible via the frequent catamaran or ferry services provided by Atlantic Ferries from Setubal. Our journey to this seaside paradise began in the south, where we boarded a ferry to Setubal. Despite the ongoing Covid lockdown in Portugal and the low season, we were treated to the awe-inspiring beauty of the empty beaches that awaited us upon arrival. A visit to this tranquil haven is a must for anyone seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
