Many toddlers, probably because the entrance to the sea is very shallow for several meters. It is very loud, blaring mixes with the constant sound of the tavern. You can find used diapers off the beaten track, there are no showers. The deck chairs cost 7 euros in the front row. The ugliest beach we visited in Corfu.
I might have overlooked this place if it hadn't been recommended by some locals. This mostly seafood-focused taverna is a hidden gem, renowned across the Ionian Sea for its fantastic stuffed calamari. We easily got a table at sunset, right on the seafront edge. The dishes were incredible, fresh, and bursting with authentic flavors from the mussels, calamari, and the most succulent grilled pork chop. If it weren't our last day, we would definitely be back tomorrow.
This stunning beach boasts magnificent sand dunes that will leave you in awe. Parking is a breeze, with a generous 50m available for your convenience. However, if you plan to visit after noon, you may have to search for a spot as this beach is a popular destination. For a small fee of 5€, you can rent a comfortable sunbed and relax in style. Additionally, a bar serving refreshing drinks and delicious snacks is also available on-site.
The island boasts of a sprawling coastline, with one of the longest beaches in the region. The breathtaking vistas of the sea are simply mesmerizing, and there are plenty of serene spots to unwind without feeling cramped or hemmed in by crowds. Whether you're driving or riding a scooter, getting to this beach is a breeze. However, it's important to note that the lack of proximity to the village means that the amenities and services may not be top-notch. It's advisable to bring your own umbrella, as the available space is limited.
This particular beach stood out to us as the most enjoyable. The journey to reach it was pleasant, with a well-maintained road leading straight to the sand. Additionally, the parking was conveniently located just a few meters away. One of the best aspects of this beach was the lack of overcrowding, which allowed for a peaceful and relaxing experience. The water was exceptionally clear, with hardly any debris or other distractions in the sand.
This beach on Corfu was definitely our favorite. It wasn't overly crowded, and the sea was stunningly beautiful and clean. The sand was a lovely golden color and had a fine texture. There weren't many dining options around, but overall, it was the perfect beach, especially for families with young children.
