view the best beach places
It's lethal if not impossible to reach the beach, steep rocky cliff with loose stones to slip on. Do not attempt this, you are risking your life Please keep safe
The beach offers of crystal clear turquoise waters and a breathtaking views from the tavern perched on its edge. However, the beach is petite and it's a rare occurrence to find vacant sunbeds. It's ideal for a quick dip and sunbathing for a few hours. Visitors can also catch a glimpse of a quirky duo of geese who waddle out of the water, squawk at the beachgoers, and then depart into the sea with pride. The air is infused with a distinct aroma of sulfur, adding to the unique ambiance of the place.
The beach is pleasant, but it may not be accessible to the general public. The hotel has reserved around 8-10 sunbeds with umbrellas, which are off-limits to outsiders. On the left side of the beach, you can lounge on the sand, but it's not the cleanest. Be cautious when following GPS directions as it may guide you towards a locked gate on the left. If you get too close to the beach, there's a chance of getting stuck in the sand.
The finest beach in Lefkada. I've been coming here for years, and there's no other beach on the island quite like this nudist-friendly spot. It offers a sense of peace and tranquility that's unmatched. Kudos to the beach and the locals, who are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The beach is made up of beautiful stones and the water is crystal clear. To get there, you just need to follow the path from the parking spot, hop over the barrier, and walk down the rocky path. It's important to wear shoes as the rocks can be sharp and slippery on the way back up. When we arrived, the main beach was a bit crowded, but we found a solution by holding our bags above our heads and walking through the water to the next cove along. This beach is perfect for snorkeling, as there are many caves and ledges along the coast.
Having breakfast right on the beach is priceless! While it may not be the most luxurious or extravagant hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and the location is superb—just a short walk to the main town and literally steps away from the beach. I couldn't find any faults with the hotel itself, but Benitses as a whole could use some footpaths since the main road through town is quite busy. If I return to Corfu, I would definitely stay here again.
