This beach is an incredible hidden treasure near Poetto beach in Cagliari. If you swim to the right for just a few minutes, you'll discover some of the clearest water in the entire Cagliari Gulf.
While not the most stunning beach in Sardinia, this city beach is surprisingly pleasant. The water is crystal clear, the sand is fine and white, and the beach is clean. Additionally, there are free toilets and showers available, as well as plenty of cafes. Multiple free parking spots are available right next to the beach, which felt safe. While it may be crowded in the summer, there was plenty of space in September and the beach-goers were considerate and well-behaved. While not ideal for snorkeling due to the sandy bottom, there are some areas with rocks and seaweed where fish can be found. The water is completely transparent and relatively calm, providing excellent visibility.
The shoreline exudes an air of seclusion, with scattered stones peppering the sand. However, a quick swim a few meters out will reveal a soft, sandy bottom. Finding a spot to park is a breeze as well. Overall, it's a perfect spot for those seeking a simple and uncomplicated beach experience 😊.
This is the top beach in the area. The sand is pristine and the water is shallow, making it perfect for children. Additionally, there are some lovely amenities nearby.
This shoreline is a true gem, located just a short 1-1.5 hour ride on public transportation from Cagliari. The beach boasts breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere that will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed. The scenery is simply stunning, with crystal-clear waters and soft, powdery sand that stretches as far as the eye can see. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun, take a dip in the refreshing waters, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, this beach has something for everyone. So why not pack a picnic and spend the day soaking up the beauty of this natural wonder? You won't be disappointed!
This beach near Pula is truly fantastic and perfect for families with children. However, one downside is the limited options for refreshments, with only a single café and bar situated on the far end of the beach. If you find yourself on the opposite side of the bar, be sure to bring your own provisions such as food and water.
