One of my favorite spots in Sydney. It's small and charming, ideal for beach picnics. Thereβs plenty of shade to relax and take in the scenery. The swimming is easy, and there's a small kiosk with essentials and a restaurant right on the beachfront. Parking can be difficult, so public transport might be a better choice. There are also great short walks nearby with amazing views of the city and harbor.
This beach near Taronga Zoo offers a lovely, intimate atmosphere and provides a great view of the city. It is conveniently accessible by taking a short ferry ride from Circular Quay and then a quick walk or drive/bus ride.
Today, I visited Balmoral Beach with my 11-year-old daughter, and we had a fantastic time swimming at the wharf! The beach is clean and wave-free, offering ample parking at $10 per hour. There are plenty of dining options, and the restroom and shower facilities even have hot water. It's an excellent beach for all ages. We'll definitely be returning! :)
This destination was absolutely incredible, with its pristine white sand. The ambiance was truly peaceful and soothing. The setting was fantastic, perfect for camping and ideal for nature enthusiasts. The sandy beach was enveloped by lush greenery, creating a stunning landscape. However, there was one aspect that led me to rate this place with only 4 stars. In close proximity to the beach, there was a public restroom, the sole one in the vicinity. Unfortunately, it was in a deplorable state, appearing neglected and unclean. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. Nonetheless, I have a deep affection for this location.
