I'm looking forward to the beach reopening once the seawall restoration is complete.

The beach is nice, I used to visit it when I was younger. However, it is currently closed for renovations until 2026 and there is no warning about it on Google.

The parking is terrible, but it's a lovely spot. Avoid weekends and school holidays, as it gets overrun with kids and ruins the peaceful atmosphere.

A safe and beautiful family beach is located at one end of the extraordinary Hermitage Coastal Walk. There is a quality licensed restaurant and take-out cafe with lovely views. Visitors can enjoy shade under the trees and views of the harbor. The beach is well-managed, clean, and always popular, but never too crowded in our experience. We highly recommend it.

One of my favorite spots in Sydney. It's small and charming, ideal for beach picnics. There’s plenty of shade to relax and take in the scenery. The swimming is easy, and there's a small kiosk with essentials and a restaurant right on the beachfront. Parking can be difficult, so public transport might be a better choice. There are also great short walks nearby with amazing views of the city and harbor.
