This location offers a picturesque panorama of the renowned Kalutara Bridge, Kalutara Bodhiya, and temple. The optimal time to experience its magnificence is at dusk. Regrettably, the beach's shoreline is adjacent to the road.

The beach offers an exquisite and captivating view that is truly breathtaking. We had the pleasure of visiting during the evening, which proved to be the perfect time to unwind and relax in the serene atmosphere. Although the waves were a bit turbulent, we didn't see anyone swimming. Nevertheless, there was a considerable amount of visitors, so safety wasn't a concern. Compared to the beach behind Kaluthara Railway Station, this beach was immaculately clean. We absolutely adored this spot and plan to visit it again in the future, without a doubt. 😍

This beach used to be stunning, but unfortunately, erosion has taken its toll. However, there are still other areas of the beach that you can explore. It's definitely still worth a visit.

This beach is the perfect spot for unwinding and clearing your mind. The fresh, clean air is invigorating and rejuvenating. However, since the beach was rebuilt, the terrain has become slightly more difficult to navigate. Catching the sunset from this beach is an absolute must and offers the most breathtaking view.

I visited the beach last night and was disappointed to find that it had changed significantly since my last visit in 2012. The bay had been dredged to prevent flooding during rainy seasons, resulting in the removal of the entire long beach and the creation of a large river bay. While this has reduced flooding, it has also eliminated the entertainment opportunities that used to be available. Unfortunately, it appears that the beach is no longer being maintained by any government or organization, and there is garbage scattered throughout the area. I would recommend that someone take action to restore the beach to its former beauty and cleanliness.
