Nestled in the Croatian seaside lies one of the most picturesque beaches you'll ever lay your eyes on. The shoreline is a sweeping curve that hugs the turquoise waters, while the beach itself is adorned with small white pebbles and sand that sparkle in the sun. While it may take a bit of effort to take a full-body swim, the bay is the ideal spot for those who love watersports or just want to soak up the sun with half their body in the water. For those who don't fancy walking, there's a convenient taxi service that takes you to and from the beach for a nominal fee of 40 HRK (around 6 EUR) for a round trip. I highly recommend taking advantage of this service, especially when heading back to your car. The beach also boasts a charming bar that serves up some basic snacks and even offers hookah rentals. I know I'll definitely be back to this stunning spot when I'm in the area again.

The gradual slope of the sea floor allows for a leisurely stroll quite far from the shore. The beach bar and rustic straw parasols add a delightful touch to the already serene atmosphere. To reach this hidden gem, one can drive to the village of Plat and follow a well-marked dirt path for approximately 20 minutes or opt for a convenient van ride for a mere 5 Euro. Although the beach is not expansive, it remains a popular destination and can become crowded during peak hours. Additionally, furry friends are warmly welcomed on this sandy oasis.

This particular beach is managed by a concession owner who is responsible for ensuring visitors have a pleasant experience. Despite a few drawbacks, there are some positive aspects to mention. The location itself is stunning, with a sandy beach that is truly breathtaking. Additionally, the bar staff are friendly and attentive, and offer a good selection of food and drinks despite being located in a remote area. However, there are also some negative aspects to consider. Unfortunately, the concession owner has not taken steps to secure the beach perimeter with buoys, which has resulted in a large number of drunk tourists parking their boats too close to the shore. This has led to large portions of the beach being blocked off, and the loud music they play can be disruptive to other beachgoers. These issues have significantly impacted the overall beach experience, resulting in a rating of three stars.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can park your car in Plat and take a refreshing 25-minute stroll through the forest to reach the beach.

This location is absolutely fantastic, undoubtedly one of the most remarkable beaches I have ever visited on Cres. Whether you prefer to take a leisurely stroll or utilize the convenient taxi service from Plat, you will arrive at a picturesque beach that boasts pristine, sparkling water, a trendy bar, and the option to rent sunshades. The ambiance is akin to that of a luxurious Caribbean island, and I highly recommend it as an essential destination for any traveler!
