If you're looking for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Baška's crowded beach, Vela Luka is the ideal destination. During late September, the beach was pleasantly serene, with ample space for everyone to enjoy. The hike to reach this hidden gem took about 2-2.5 hours, but the scenic views along the way made it all worthwhile. I can't help but yearn for the chance to visit Vela Luka every single day.

While the lack of crowds may seem like a perk, it's likely due to the less-than-ideal conditions. The swimming space may be ample, but don't be surprised if you find yourself sharing it with some unsavory sea creatures. Overall, a decent spot for a dip, but don't expect a luxurious beach experience.

If you're looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of Baška, this beach is an excellent choice. You can reach it either by boat taxi or by following the red track on foot, which takes about 2.5 hours one way. However, the journey is well worth it as the stunning landscape views and numerous opportunities for fantastic photos make it a memorable experience.
